A June Saturday that ran from a 2pm garden ceremony to sparklers at midnight. They arrived on the Friday with close family, walked the grounds at dusk and ate supper in the Cider House. On the day, guests gathered at Walled Garden and the afternoon ran the way it should: unhurried, with time for the people who came. We kept the evening loose: speeches as the light turned gold, a long dinner, then the doors open and the band until midnight.
